Kate begun the Shake4mike campaign, a nationwide search for bone marrow, when Mike was diagnosed with leukaemia, leaving him with only 60 days to live.

Since starting, the Shake4mike campaign has attracted attention from all over the country, and has even appeared the BBC’s One Show.

More importantly, Kate’s campaign has successfully managed to find a donor for Mike, meaning Mike can undergo a stem cell transplant at the beginning of July.

  Incredibly, the Shake4Mike campaign has seen a dramatic 650% increase in registrations, with more than 7000 new donors joining the Anthony Nolan register as a direct result of the campaign. Amazing!!
